I was unaware of the full concept of financial literacy until I attended the Deaf HomeOwners Network workshop and presentation about the interest cancellation strategy. Marina Fanshteyn (the presenter) explained about the interest cancellation strategy (in ASL), how banks eat up your money and how you could save money.... Her presentation helped me to get an even clearer understanding about how I can use the tool that will help me strategically pay off all interest such as mortgage, car/student loans, credit cards and so on in shorter period of time. This tool will also help my money to grow for future plans and retirement. She continues to share her knowledge and passion for how vital it is that people be taught financial literacy to make them educated about the interest cancellation strategy and other financial tools to get out of debts and grow money for retirement. It was a great experience.
